Redfish Elementary School is a K-6 school with 121 pupils. It is situated 26 kilometres east of Nelson, British Columbia, Canada on beautiful Kootenay Lake.

We are part of Kootenay Lake School District (#8). You will find many useful links to our district calendar, district bus routes, registration forms and other information.

Note: Students who need to get off the bus at any stop other than their own or traveling on another bus require a bus slip. Also if your child is being picked up at the school or walking/ biking to another destination please send a note to the teacher advising of alternate plans.

Kindergarten students attend full days Wednesdays and Thursdays.

We are a peanut aware school.

We are also proud to be part of Encorp Pacific. We support recycling by returning non-alcoholic used beverage containers for a refund.

Our 2007- 2008 and 2008-2009 school goals are to increase problem solving skills in our students.
